Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp dry rub (homemade or store-bought)

Optional DIY Dry Rub:

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper

  • ½ tsp thyme or oregano

Instructions

  1. Pat wings dry with paper towels.

  2. Toss wings with oil in a bowl.

  3. Add dry rub and coat evenly.

  4. Let rest for 15–30 minutes (or refrigerate overnight).

  5. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  6. Arrange wings in a single layer and cook for 22–25 minutes, flipping halfway.

  7. Optionally toss with extra rub and serve hot.

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd the basket—air circulation is key.

  • Resting after seasoning enhances flavor.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.

  • Reheat at 375°F for 5–6 minutes in the air fryer for crispiness.
