Instructions

  1. Gather all your chosen lotus plant concentrate, flavoring syrups, sparkling water, and any optional add-ins or garnishes
  2. Pour your desired amount of flavoring syrup (typically 0.5 to 1 ounce) into the bottom of your serving glass. If using muddled fruit, add it now and gently press to release juices
  3. Add 1 to 2 ounces of your chosen lotus plant concentrate directly over the syrup
  4. Generously fill your glass completely with ice
  5. Slowly pour 8 to 10 ounces of sparkling water over the ice and other ingredients
  6. If desiring a creamy finish, gently float 0.5 to 1 ounce of half & half, oat milk, or coconut milk over the top of the drink
  7. Give your drink a gentle stir with a spoon or straw to combine all the flavors, avoiding vigorous stirring to retain carbonatio
  8. Add your fresh fruit, mint, or citrus garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy

Quality ingredients enhance the taste; choose good lotus concentrate and natural fruit syrups if possible.

Use plenty of ice to keep the drink perfectly chilled and for ideal dilution. Larger cubes melt slower.

For visual appeal, layer liquids by adding syrup first, then lotus concentrate, then slowly sparkling water over ice. Gently float cream on top if used.
