Ingredients
1.5 to 2 lbs turkey tenderloin
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried thyme
Salt & pepper to taste
1 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
Instructions
Pat the turkey tenderloin dry. Rub with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
(Optional) Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the tenderloin for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Place turkey in the crock pot. Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2.5–3 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing or shredding. Serve warm.
Notes
For a kid-friendly twist, swap broth for apple cider and add 1 tbsp maple syrup.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer.
Add fresh rosemary or lemon zest for more flavor.
