  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites:

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1/4 cup reserved pasta water

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta
Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.

  • Sear the Steak Bites
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

  • Make the Garlic Butter
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium and add butter and garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Add Steak Back In
Toss the cooked steak bites back into the garlic butter and mix to coat evenly. Set aside.

  • Make the Parmesan Sauce
In another pan (or clean the skillet), melt butter and pour in the heavy cream. Stir in parmesan cheese and pasta water. Simmer on low heat until creamy.

  • Toss Pasta with Sauce
Add cooked pasta into the sauce and toss well to coat.

  • Combine and Serve
Add steak bites over the pasta or mix everything together. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for best meltability.

  • Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra nutrients.

  • For gluten-free, use chickpea or lentil pasta.
