Ingredients
-
4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
-
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
-
4 garlic cloves, minced
-
¼ cup raw honey
-
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
-
Prep the salmon: Pat the fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
-
Make the glaze: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant (about 1 minute).
-
Add honey and lemon juice, stir and let the glaze simmer for 1–2 minutes until it thickens slightly.
-
Cook the salmon: Place salmon fillets skin-side down into the skillet. Cook for 4–5 minutes per side, basting with the sauce as it cooks.
-
Finish and serve: Spoon more glaze over the top, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
-
For extra crispiness, broil the salmon for 2 minutes after cooking.
-
Add red chili flakes or sriracha for a spicy twist.
-
This recipe works well with trout or halibut as substitutes.
-
Great served with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
