1 Teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar

  6. While the wings bake, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat
  7. Whisk in the honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar, then simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened
  8. Remove the sauce from heat and let the wings rest for 2 minutes after taking them out of the ove
  9. Transfer the crispy wings to a bowl and toss thoroughly with the warm sauce to coat
  10. Serve immediately while hot and glistening

Notes

If you do not have cornstarch, you can substitute it with baking powder to achieve crispy skin.

Never crowd the baking sheet; use two pans if necessary to prevent the wings from steaming instead of crisping.

Avoid the microwave for reheating; use an air fryer or oven to restore the original crunch.

For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the sauce mixture.

Garnish with fresh chives or cilantro to provide a fresh contrast to the rich glaze.
