Ingredients
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (with the “mother”)
½ freshly squeezed lemon
1 teaspoon grated or powdered ginger
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup brewed green tea (cooled) or 1 teaspoon matcha
½–1 cup filtered water
Optional: ½ teaspoon raw honey or a few drops of stevia (natural sweetener)
Instructions
Brew green tea and let it cool to room temperature. If using matcha, whisk it in warm water until frothy.
In a large glass jar or shaker, combine lemon juice, ACV, ginger, and cayenne pepper.
Add green tea and filtered water. Stir or shake well.
Add sweetener if desired and mix again.
Serve immediately over ice or chill in the fridge. Shake before each use.
Notes
Best consumed in the morning on an empty stomach or 30 minutes before meals.
Use a straw to prevent acidity from damaging teeth.
Start with one serving per day and build up if well-tolerated.
Do not exceed 2 servings per day.
Not recommended for those with acid reflux or ulcers unless approved by a healthcare provider.
