Ingredients

Scale

2 cups Frozen Pineapple Chunks
1 cup Unsweetened Pineapple Juice
1/2 cup Cream of Coconut
1/2 cup Ice Cubes
1-2 tablespoons Sweetener, optional
As desired Pineapple wedges, optional garnish
As desired Maraschino cherries, optional garnish

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients: frozen pineapple chunks, unsweetened pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and ice cubes
  2. Add frozen pineapple chunks, pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and 1/2 cup of ice cubes into a powerful blender. If using, add any optional sweeteners at this stage
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides with a spatula if needed
  4. Check the consistency. If too thick, add a splash more pineapple juice. If too thin, add a few more frozen pineapple chunks or ice cubes and blend agai
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or tanginess as desired
  6. Pour the blended pina colada into chilled serving glasses
  7. Garnish each glass with a fresh pineapple wedge or a maraschino cherry for a classic resort look. Serve immediately for the best taste and texture

Notes

For an extra frosty drink, chill your serving glasses in the freezer for 15-20 minutes before pouring.

The amount of ice and frozen pineapple can be adjusted to achieve your desired thickness; add more for a slushier texture, or more juice to thin it out.

Avoid over-blending to prevent melting the ice and fruit, which can result in a thinner drink.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but the texture will change. Re-blend with fresh ice to refresh.

You can freeze leftover mixture into popsicles for a delicious icy treat.
