Ingredients

Scale

4 oz Cranberry Juice Cocktail
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz Fresh Orange Juice
½ oz Simple Syrup
Plenty Ice
Orange Peel or Lime Wedge

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and equipment, including cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, fresh orange juice, simple syrup, ice, a cocktail shaker, a jigger or measuring tool, and your chosen martini glass
  2. Fill your cocktail shaker about two-thirds full with ice
  3. Carefully measure and pour the cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, fresh orange juice, and simple syrup into the shaker
  4. Secure the lid tightly on the shaker, then shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty
  5. While the drink chills, prepare your serving glass; place your martini glass in the freezer for a few minutes beforehand for a super-chilled experience
  6. Remove the lid from the shaker and use a strainer to pour the chilled liquid into your prepared martini glass, straining out all ice shards
  7. Garnish with a fresh orange peel twist or a lime wedge, and serve immediately

Notes

Always use freshly squeezed citrus juices for the brightest and most vibrant flavors.

Chill your serving glass beforehand to keep the drink colder for longer.

Use plenty of ice in the shaker for proper chilling and dilution.

Shake vigorously to aerate the drink and ensure all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and chilled.

Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness before serving according to your preference.

Prepare simple syrup up to two weeks in advance and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Freshly squeezed citrus juices can be prepared 2-3 days ahead and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

For parties, pre-mix the liquid base (juices and simple syrup) up to 24 hours in advance and store in a sealed pitcher; shake with ice just before serving.

A beautiful garnish, such as an orange peel twist, lime wheel, or fresh cranberries, truly completes the experience.
